Our Favorite Nutritional Company
lmost two years ago, something pretty amazing happened

in our lives. It was an awful time of year for my allergies, and that May was the worst! People with allergies that were in the Dallas, Texas area that Spring remember the day. We woke up to find a layer of dirt covering our world. Our cars, our outdoor furniture, everything was covered with this awful layer of dirt. We were told it blew in from West Texas. All I knew was that sometime in the night, I felt it come through, way before I saw it.

I really didn't think I was going to be able to lift my head up off the pillow that day. I felt like my head weighed a ton, and I could hardly breathe, think or move.

Randy called me during the day and wanted me to meet someone he had come in contact with about a business opportunity. On top of feeling wretched, I was very focused on my career at the time, and was definitely not interested in any business deal.

When he came home that night all ready to take me to meet this person about this obscure business opportunity, I was not pleased. In fact, I was angry with him. He told me, "Rita, if you are not willing to listen to someone that offers something that is better than what you have, then you are not the woman I thought you were."

That was it, I had to go. I pulled myself together, grabbed my box of tissue, and we were off.

While I was there, Randy's new friend gave me a bottle of Proanthenols; (smart move). She told me the Proanthenols were very potent antioxidants that were actually the exclusive formula of a doctor in Paris that did all the research on free radicals, and had actually pinned the word pycnogenol.

Well, she was raving on and on about the bottle she had before me and I was thinking, "okay, okay." I went ahead and started on the Proanthenols right then and there. By the time I was on my way home, I felt a dramatic difference.

The Proanthenols made such an impression on my husband and I that we decided to go check out Life Plus International. We knew they were a unique company that manufactured their own products using a special cold pressed method keeping the enzymes alive and used a phytozyme base of vegetables instead of the usual fillers.

We planned a day trip to Batesville, Arkansas. After going through the manufacturing plant and sitting down with the owners and checking out motives, etc., we felt we had found a home. We actually ended up staying three days. Since that first trip to Batesville, we have been back many, many times, and each time we return we are greeted and treated like family. We found that this incredible company was truly making differences in people's lives.

The Life Plus mission statement: "To empower people to reach their maximum potential in health and lifestyle" was in line with our mission statement. We found Life Plus to be a company that is "driven by passion...advanced by science...and sustained though commitment."

I guess I have to give Randy credit for finding Life Plus International; Randy was right again.
